How this works

This is a refined version of Eric Schulze's TEVI from December 2006, updated with new clinical observations and friendlier labels — Group, Partner, and Safety in place of Social, Intimate, and Self-Preservation.

For each question, you'll see three statements. Rate each one independently on a 1-to-5 scale, from Strongly Agree (or Almost Always) to Strongly Disagree (or Almost Never). Each statement stands on its own — you can strongly agree with more than one, or strongly disagree with all three.

Answer how you've been the majority of your adult life — not just the last few weeks. There are 30 questions plus one bonus and 3 quick context questions. Takes about 10 minutes.

No right or wrong answers. The most useful results come from honest answers, even if no statement feels like a perfect fit.
